    I would hope that economics plays the bigger role here, but history has proven that way back in the day of early social welfare in the United States, Native Americans weren’t even counted, African Americans weren’t even helped by the most liberal of Charity Organization Societies and Settlement Houses, and poor White immigrants found it difficult to make a living. Change has made it’s way through our past but it’s slow and history has a way of repeating itself.

  • So important to remember those points in our past… change has been made, but I think Wise makes some very real points in this segment. There is some serious hate being shown through this debate…
