Virtual Yoga

After the last two posts, I needed relief from the horrors of our food system…

Ahhhhh yes, yoga is a very nice relief. If you’ve never taken a yoga class, I encourage you to give one a try. I know that there can be lots of barriers: I’m not flexible enough, it’s only for women, I’m too old, I’m too big, it’s too easy, it’s a religion… and many more. We can discuss more of the physical, emotional, social, etc. benefits of yoga in a later post (and the barriers that might be standing in the way).

For this post, I want to simply encourage you to try one of Jason Crandell’s free online yoga classes (click here to find the classes). You can also visit Corepower Yoga online and sign up for one week free of online yoga. They have some wonderful beginner classes. Don’t worry if you can’t do the poses fully. Yoga should feel good-it’s a technique that invites release, not pain. So, give one (or more) a try this week and comment back on what you think and experience.

Namaste,

Aimee
